Animal Husbandry (Pashupalan)

Poor, needy and illiterate farmers, agricultural labourers generally do have 1-2 cows or buffaloes, 2-3 sheep, 4-5 hens. This Degree course covers various aspects and ways in which these animal resources can be better looked after and managed so that they can contribute towards economic betterment of these farmers. Stress has been laid in this course on milk production along with meat production from sheep rearing, poultry farming, quail farming and hare farming. But mostly importantly awareness is created to explain how all this can be simply and easily managed.

This curriculum designed by Aniruddha Bapu teaches animal husbandry with requirement of minimum input costs as it has been designed by Him keeping the rural masses in focus and the resources available with them. Thus any educated or illiterate farmer from rural areas can be drawn towards animal husbandry and thus improve his economic condition.
